The modern retail market in Radom dates from the end of the 90s. Currently, there are five shopping centres with a commercial offer operating in the city totaling approx. 127,000 m². The largest scheme in Radom is the downtown Galeria Słoneczna, which was opened in 2011. Its main tenants include Carrefour Market, Multikino, RTV Euro AGD, Zara, Reserved, Mohito, Rossmann, Intersport. In terms of size, the second largest retail object is M1 shopping centre. Tenants such as Wittchen Travel and Olsen have recently opened their stores there. Other retail properties in Radom are smaller convenience centres, designed to meet everyday shopping needs - E.Leclerc, Atrium Gama and Echo SC. It is worth mentioning that, the area recently leased by NOMI - DIY market in Echo, was rented among others by tenants such as Komfort and Komfort Łazienki. The decrease of vacancy rates is an important event in the retail market in Radom. Their level is still at high level, comparing to the first half of the year it fell significantly (by 2.4 p.p.) - to the level of 8.5%.
