Currently, developers and owners of shopping centres are focused on extensions and modernizations. As an example of such activity is the recently completed extension of Janki SC or the development of Atrium Targówek as well as modernization works at Blue City and Atrium Promenada. Retail chains’ interest in premises for rent focuses both on the best new shopping centres under construction (e.g. Galeria Młociny) and centres with established commercial position (e.g. Blue City). The recently announced lease agreements in Galeria Młociny included among others: MK Bowling, fashion operators TK Maxx, Forever21 and Carry as well as Enel-med clinic. IKEA, Helios cinema and Fit-One club have rented premises in Blue City. The number of new tenants in Wola Park is also worth mentioning. An average vacancy ratio in Warsaw remains stable and as low as 2%.
