The New Year and the winter season on Krakow's shopping streets bring no signs of spectacular change. Still, anyone who gets hungry has a chance to find something for themselves, courtesy of the excellent food and drink offer on the Main Market Square and the streets leading to it. Seasonal ice-cream stands have been replaced for the season with the ever popular souvenir shops. Or winter hat shops, which can be observed at Grodzka Street.
In its windows overlooking the Market Square, the Pasaż 13 announces the opening of two new shops soon. Are we in for a surprise this time? We’ll see.
The district of Kazimierz will host hungry visitors in its myriad restaurants and pubs. An interesting novelty is the concept behind the Folga foodsharing restaurant. Launched at 12, Estery in December, "it's all about sharing". Serving Polish cuisine, the “Szeroka 7” is a new restaurant in place of the Indian establishment Bombay at Szeroka Street. The Miodova next door has unfortunately closed.
