The end of the year saw the long-anticipated opening of the shopping arcade at the Europejski hotel. It houses the first Polish store of the French fashion house Hermes, where customers can purchase, among others, the legendary Birkin handbag. Also included are HE Concept Store and Europejski Boutiques – luxury lovers will appreciate the opportunity to choose a classic watch (both Rolex or Cartier are available from W. Kruk) or a pair of elegant glasses (from the Perfect Vision salon).
A series of changes have been taking place in Warsaw, retail market-wise, one of the visible results being the appearance a new format of certified organic food stores. Marszałkowska 87 is the address of the first Carrefour BIO outlet in Poland. The almost 200 sqm host over two thousand eco-products!
Healthy plant cuisine aficionados may also be tempted to try something delicious at Aleja Jana Pawła II 41, in yet another restaurant of the Krowarzywa chain – the Vegan Burger. Also in that area, in the Atrium Garden office building, Morele.Net has recently opened its Netpunkt online store, whose previous location was in the SWEDE Center office building at 56c Aleje Jerozolimskie
Brand new retail spaces can be experienced at Grzybowska Street, where the buildings that make up the Browary Warszawskie complex now house a new HEBE store, and a soon-to-be launched a restaurant, its specialty unknown as we speak. New premises are also being developed in the Mennica Residence building. We’ll be able to say more about them in the summer edition.
Warsaw’s bar and gastronomy hub has welcomed several new tenants, including the Aura Bar on Hoża, The Cuba Libre Rum & Cigar House on Poznańska, the Heart Beat on Nowogrodzka, the Raut restaurant on Wilcza, as well as the Bistro Bułka via Bibułka on Żurawia.
We couldn’t, of course, forget the connector between the city center and the Vistula river boulevards. On Tamka street, the number of empty premises remains stable. However, a completely new, very interesting tenant has appeared. Combining a store and a café, a restaurant has opened at number 37 – Asfalt Coffee & Vinyl. Interestingly, the creator behind it is a record label.
