New schemes increase Łódź shopping streets stock

Piotrkowska was the first inventoried street in Łódź. The numer of tenants between Plac Wolności and Aleja Marszałka Józefa Piłsudskiego have grown from 340 in 2019 to 350 in 2021. During this time, office and hotel building Hi Piotrkowska was opened with two new premises in the frontage of Piotrkowska Street. It is worth noting that revitalisation and construction processes in Łódź which are carried out by both the municipality and private investors increase the stock of commercial premises in the city center. In result, Piotrkowska St. extends to the north, along Nowomiejska Street to Ogrodowa Street, where a modern residential scheme is under construction, with additional commercial premises located on the ground floor and first floor of the building. To the south, multi-functional complexes such as Ogrody Geyera and Fuzja are partially opened and next phases are under construction or planning stage. Such projects will undoubtedly become interesting places for meetings, shopping and entertainment for residents and tourists. In our opinion they will be a good complement to the city's commercial and service offer. At this point, we should also mention the recently opened Monopolis project which includes office, service and entertainment areas. Currently, visitors can eat in Arteria restaurant, drink coffee at the Mono Cafe or go to a performance or concert organised in the newly created Monopolis Stage. One cannot forget about long-operating and constantly developing places such as OFF Piotrkowska, where next to tenants known for a long time as Łódź-based brand PanTuNiestał, the new ones are launched, such as the NOHO Hair beauty studio. During the pandemic ATO Ramen has changed its location within the OFF zone from an old pavilion to a larger premise in the modern Teal Office building. Slightly younger, but not less interesting, Piotrkowska 217 operates and attracts guests with its diversity. The new tattoo parlour appeared in the place after Manufaktura Czekolady Chocolate Story, while Owoce i Warzywa (Fruits and Vegetables) has opened the second restaurant in Łódź
