Shopping streets in Warsaw residential estates

“Shopping streets in Warsaw residential estates” report presents data and trends on Warsaw retail market. The analysis included approximately 3,430 commercial premises with a total estimated area of 363,400 m² GLA (with an average unit size of 106 m²), located along 40 shopping streets/areas, in 14 districts where dynamically developing housing construction occurs. In addition, the report included GfK's assessment of the potential of shopping streets in residential estates in the context of changing consumer trends, based on systematic monitoring, research and analysis, particularly in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic and other events and phenomena in the modern world.

According to our observations, grocery stores, health and beauty services, cafes, restaurants and bistros are dominant in new residential developments. What is surprising, however, is the variety and quality of the offer and the ingenuity of tenants in creating unique retail, service and catering concepts. Despite the presence of chain companies, new housing developments are the domain of individual entrepreneurs.
